• 2004-05-28

  For Belgian beef slaughterhouses, the monthly classification report which has to mailed to the ministery of agriculture, can now be automatically sent by IC-trace.

• 2004-04-19

  Our new site goes live. We are working hard on putting up all the info. However, there is now an important now feature making it possible for the producers of beef to get their animal's info when it is slaughtered in a slaughterhouse which uses IC-trace. In the "IC-trace number" box at the top left, you can type "sanitel beef@sanitel producer", eg "BE86074735@10138467".

  From now on, IC-trace can automatically send the month e-mails to the department of agriculture concerning the classification of slaughtered beef.

  The EEC directive 178/2002 concerning traceability has been converted into a Belgian law. See original text (dutch and french only)..

  Planning change: Up to now, the IC-trace project has only been about the consistent storage and combination of traceability data, and the secure communication of this information. This has changed, and IC-trace will also include the software to capture the data on the workfloor.
